Show Your Veggies Some Love With Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus Twists

Veggies get a bad rap from kids. I’m pretty sure every parent has had to say, “No dessert until you eat your vegetables!” at least once. Or twice. Probably a hundred times.

Some parents get extra clever when feeding their kids veggies. These Bacon-Wrapped Asparagus Twists are one more clever veggie recipe you can use to get some greens in your child’s diet. Take crisp asparagus stalks, wrap them in bacon, then wrap them in fluffy pastry dough. Now that’s a dinnertime winner right there!

Don’t be surprised if your kiddos ask for seconds. Let’s just hope there are seconds because trust me, these stalks of asparagus wrapped in bacon and puff pastry are addicting.

Those do look good, but isn’t the whole point of having veggies to get the nutrition from it? Although I love bacon, I can’t really see how this is keeping it nutritional LOL! They do look like a fun snack or appetizer to serve when entertaining too!

This looks and sounds so freaking amazing! My husband and I would dig into these so much – this has to be the next thing I try to make. I’ve made meatballs or grilled cheeses wrapped in bacon before, but I never thought to do it on veggies, which I would prefer!
